The matcha masterclass is divided into two parts:
In the first part, you will get an introduction to what matcha really is, why it has become so popular and what proven properties lie behind it. We dive into history, look at how matcha is grown and made, and work with flavors so you learn to recognize quality.
In the second part, we go hands-on. You'll learn the proper technique for preparing matcha, why it's whipped — and what it means for flavor and texture. We also look at how matcha can be used in everyday life, both as a beverage and in cooking.
And of course: you have to whip up your own bowl of matcha yourself.
